The World is My Oyster

871668234_601b6789a6_nI arrived home from work this evening to find my brand new passport waiting for me. My ticket to adventure. My advance to go, collect £200 card. Freedom.

I can’t wait for its crisp, new pages to be brimming with stamps; bent and broken-spined, like a well-loved book, my head swimming with the memories and the exhilaration of the experience.

Suddenly, it’s all become very real.

    1. At the moment I am not 100% sure, I don’t leave until November. I am in Borneo from May next year for 2 months volunteering at Sepilok Orangutan conservation centre. I am working my trip around that. Still a bit up in the air at present but it will all come together 🙂
