Jet-setter Jones

Today I ticked off another bucket list item as I meandered my way through the beautiful rice paddies of Sa Pa, Northern Vietnam.

Just coming out of their winter, Sa Pa is currently a land of mist, cloud, drizzle and cold (tomorrow we do a two day hike, one night camping…. wish us luck!). Biking through the hills with thick mist surrounding you whilst trees, vehicles and other obstacles appear from nowhere a few feet in front of you was certainly an experience.

On reaching the top of a peak we found we were surrounded with rice paddies as far as the eye could see.

It was so beautiful. I wanted to stay forever.

Now in the city again, warming myself by a fire with a hot chocolate and looking back over my pictures they really don’t do it justice. You’ll just have to come and experience it for yourself!
